Overview

St. Louise Regional Hospital has been designated as a Baby-Friendly Hospital. This designation puts us in an elite group of hospitals. Baby-Friendly USA is a global program sponsored by the World Health Organization and United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF). The program recognizes hospitals and birthing centers that offer an optimal level of care for breastfeeding. As a Baby Friendly hospital, our staff is trained in breastfeeding and newborns stay with their mothers throughout their hospital stay.
