Our highly skilled Emergency Room Stroke Team consists of board-certified Teleneurologists who provide 24/7 telemedicine access specializing in acute stroke. St. Louise's experienced team of emergency room physicians work closely with these experts to provide rapid stroke treatment. Telemedicine uses high-definition cameras and videoconferencing technology to connect patients with a board-certified neurologist stroke specialist who rapidly collaborates with the on-call emergency room physician to provide quick, effective treatment(s) and acute management optimizing safe high quality of care patient outcomes.
